The 2024-2025 USA Away kit sees a return to the sash design first made famous by Americas footballing heroes of 1950, with a new gradient descending on multiple stripes. In the 1950 FIFA World Cup, the USMNT, consisting of mostly part-time players, defeated a highly-favoured England side while wearing their first ever sashed jersey.¬†The sash is unique in that it runs shorter than the standard shoulder-to-hip sashes you’re accustomed to, mostly wrapping the hip and lower torso in the colour pattern.
