The Gunners had a great 1988/1989 season, winning the First Division League title with some cracking victories, such as 2-1 against Manchester United, and 2-0 against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur. What a year, and also a beautiful prediction of what would come later on in the decade, when Arsenal firmly established themselves as one of the best teams in the world.
